Below are a list of the most common and Frequently Asked Questions for the embrace Program. If this does not answer your question, we encourage you to ask in the Telegram or Facebook Group or email support@angelacounsel.com.au.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO FIRST?
We recommend that you join the embrace Program - June 2025 Facebook Group, introduce yourself, let us know why you are here and upload a 'before' selfie. This will be an important part of the program, especially as it comes to an end, and we celebrate your success.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT OVER THE NEXT 10 WEEKS?
Each week a new Module will be released and available on the HUB, typically around 8.00 am AEST on Saturdays. You will receive an email at this time sharing the new module for the week. Use the Modules link above or click here for quick access.

The modules will contain a new video for the week and most weeks there will also be a pdf workbook to download. The workbook is located under the video on the righthand side, and you will have an option to download a fillable version to your computer or download a printable version if you prefer to hand write.

Some weeks will contain more than one module and additional videos or resources to support you.

There will be weekly coaching calls on a Monday starting with a Vision Workshop Call in Week 1, Weeks 2 - 9 your Group Coaching Calls continue with a different topic each week and Week 10 ends with a Celebration Call. From each weeks Group Coaching Calls you will receive some homework or 'home play' to do. This won't take much of your time but is an important part of the program and helping you to learn more about yourself and how you can thrive according to your health type. This also becomes your Personal Health Plan to guide you moving forward.

You'll also find some bonus calls and information will be provided along the way.

A weekly Ask Me Anything Post will be posted in the Facebook & Telegram Groups each week for you to ask any questions you have.

HELP! WHAT IF THE MATERIALS AREN'T SHOWING IN THE HUB?
When the modules are released each Saturday, you should be able to see them so if they are not displaying for you, it may be because when you visit a website frequently, your web browser stores elements of the web page in a cache, so that they do not have to be downloaded again each time you visit, making your browser faster. Occasionally, when the website is changed, you may not be able to view the changes, because you are actually viewing the "old" page (or the cache). The joys of technology.

Here are a few tips you can try:
  • LOGOUT - log out of the page & log back in again.
  • Do a hard refresh - Windows (Chrome, Edge & Firefox - Press Ctrl + Shift + R or Ctrl + F5) or MAC (Chrome & Firefox - Press Command + Shift + R), (Safari - Press Command + Option + R).
  • Clear your web browser cache - Open browser settings, navigate to Privacy & Security > Clearing Browsing Data. Select Cached images and files, then Clear Data
  • Try a new web browser - Log in via a different web browser for example, if you are using Chrome, try Edge or Firefox instead. 
  • Another device - If all else fails, try another device such as an alternative computer, iPad, Tablet or even phone. 

I'M HAVING TROUBLE WATCHING THE RECORDINGS
If you find you have difficulty watching the module videos or call recordings, for example they do not load properly, or stop at a certain point, or keep stopping & starting, try one or several of these options:
  • Check your internet connection. Make sure your internet connection is fast & reliable.
  • Refresh your browser. Sometimes it may just get stuck & need a refresh, especially if your internet may have gone down momentarily. 
  • Shut down your browser and restart. 

If the issues persist, let us know either in the Facebook Group or email support@angelacounsel.com as there may be an issue at our end that needs to be fixed.

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE WORKBOOKS?
Click on the link and the workbook should automatically open up. Then you simply need to click on PRINT, or 'SAVE AS' to save directly to your computer. Be sure to save it to a location where you can easily locate it if you are using the fillable version.

I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH ZOOM SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO SET MYSELF UP FOR THE LIVE ZOOM CALLS?
You will need a computer or laptop with a camera and a strong internet connection. Alternatively, you can use an iPad/tablet or phone, but you will have a better experience, especially when it comes to interacting if using a computer or laptop.

Quick checklist for a zoom call:
  • A quiet place - Find yourself a quiet place, just for you and give yourself the time you deserve for one hour a week.
  • Download / Connect to zoom: download the zoom software via this link (or simply connect to the event, if already downloaded) via the below, the link in the Facebook Group or in the dashboard. Be sure to do this around 15 minutes before the first call to make sure you are ready to go.

TAKE ME TO THE CALL
  • Test your zoom - You can test your connection to Zoom prior to the call by vising the Zoom Test Room Here.
  • Consider if you need earbuds or headphones  - You don't want to be distracted by other people, animals or activities while you are on these calls so give yourself the quite space you need to enjoy and get the best out of each call. if you are sharing a space with others, earbuds or headphones may be the way to go.

HOW DO I INTERACT DURING THE CALL?
While the call is taking place your audio will be on mute until it is time to open the call for comments or discussion. 
  • Make sure you are visible - if you can't see yourself & just a black screen, then we can't see you either. Be sure to the click the 'video' button at the bottom of your screen. If you have a red line across the video, your video is switched off & you just need to click on it to 'Start Video'.
  • Unmute - if you'd like to share during the call, simply click on the 'Audio' image at the bottom left of your screen & unmute to talk. The more you interact, the more you will gain. 
  • Chat - you can use the chat function at any time during the call. Simply click on 'Chat' at the bottom of your screen. Start typing your message and hit 'enter' or use the 'send' button.
  • Raise Your Hand - if you'd like to let the group or Angela know you'd like to talk, you can also use the 'Raise Your Hand' function. Click on the 'react' image at the bottom of your screen & select 'Raise Your Hand'. This will show the group you're keen to talk. 
  • React - if you love a good emoji you can also use the 'react' image to select an emoji if you want to react to something that has been said/shared. 

If you'd like to change the layout of your zoom view so that you can see everyone on the call, click on the 'View' button on the top right of your screen. Select 'gallery' as this will allow you to see your fellow embrace ladies.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY NAME IN ZOOM?

Before joining the meeting:
  • Open the Zoom app or click the meeting link. 
  • When the 'Join Meeting' window pops up you'll see a field that says 'Your Name'. Simply type in the name you want to appear. 
  • You can also check/uncheck "Remember by name for future meetings" so that you don't have to change your name each call. 

While you're already in the meeting:
  • Click 'Participants' in the toolbar at the bottom. This will bring up participants on your right.
  • Hover over your name in the participant list and click on the 3 dots. Select 'Rename' and type in the name you wat to appear. 

    HOW/WHERE DO I GET SUPPORT DOING THE PROGRAM & WHERE CAN I ASK QUESTIONS?
    Ongoing support is provided each week through the resources in the HUB, your weekly Coaching Calls and also via the Facebook Group.
    Each week an 'Ask Me Anything' post will be posted into the Facebook Group giving you an opportunity to ask any specific questions you have for that week. Just be sure to tag 'Embrace Menopause Team' so we can see & respond.
