What keeps you motivated? How do you keep going? These are common questions when we have so much to do, that we just do nothing and procrastinate. But to get back on track, the first thing we have to do is stop, take a deep breath and reconnect to what our vision is. What do you want to achieve in your business or personal life, and what is the difference you want to make in the world? If you don’t have a big vision, or even a monthly goal, you aren’t moving anywhere because you aren’t working towards something.
Planning the next day is another way to prevent demotivation: what are the top 3 things you need to get done today to reach your goals, and what is the most important? This is often the thing we procrastinate against the most, and what we should be doing first.
Lastly, creativity is generally at its peak in the morning, and scheduling work with others in the afternoon can be a great way to boost everyone’s energy levels. But sometimes, the most important thing to do is take a day or even a few hours off, to disconnect so you can reconnect.
