Howdy, it’s Angela here

on this page I am supposed to tell you all about me, well briefly I am a Mum, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend,a dog owner, a naturopath and a business owner.  I often have lots of different balls in the air and I have been known to drop a few some days.

I love learning how the mind and body works and sharing what I know with other women.  I could talk about health and mindset forever. In fact my kids often tell me to shut up because they think I am ‘banging’ on too much about bodily functions or questioning their words and beliefs.

Having worked as a clinical naturopath over the past 10 years, I have seen the impact that high levels of stress has on women’s businesses, relationships and health.  I have made it my mission to teach women about what stress is, how it affects them and how they can reduce stress in their life.

Each year I choose one or two words which become my theme words for the year.  This year my words are fun and connection, so you will see that I spend more time having fun and making great connections with other women.

I am passionate about working with women whether it be teaching them about their health, helping them clear their limiting beliefs or coaching other naturopaths to run a successful clinic.  If you are ready to live a healthy and vital life while running a successful business then I would love to help you make that happen and if we have fun along the way that’s even better.

The Official Stuff

I am a degree qualified Naturopath with 10 years experience running my own health clinics. I am also trained in NLP techniques and I am a Certified LifeLine Practitioner.  My book Secret Mums Business – Create the Business and Lifestyle of Your Dreams was published in April 2014 and was number one on Amazon in the “Health & Wellbeing” and “Small Business” Categories in July 2014.  I also speak at different events throughout the year, spreading the message of living a low stress life to business women all over the country.  I have recently created the Entrepreneur’s Playdate, events which are designed to take women out of their business to have fun.

I have been featured in several magazines and television programs including Prevention, Good Health, Channel 7’s The Morning Show and Channel 10’s The Project.  I am also a regular contributor to several blogs including CBA Women in Focus, Ruby Connection, She Business and more.

Gratitude is a vital part of creating a life of fulfillment and joy. Gratitude for who we are and our place in the world, and for the fact that we can give back.

I am grateful for the people I work with, and the contribution I make to the lives of these women. Over the year Angela Counsel and The Ambaa Tree contribute to four organisations who do so much to improve the lives of others, and make the world a better place for the future.
